We provide a holistic spectrum of services—including massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care—to improve health outcomes and reduce medical costs for individuals with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and spina bifida.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated, neuro-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Lakewood team as a full-time employee. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of our rehabilitation department, working under the direct supervision of our on-site Physical Therapist to deliver high-intensity, life-changing rehabilitation to a community that often faces barriers to specialized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Execute complex physical therapy treatments following the established Plan of Care for participants with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and other neuromuscular conditions.
• Specialized Tech Lead: Master and implement advanced modalities, including Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), Vibration Plates, and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR), to maximize functional outcomes.
• Integrative Collaboration: Actively participate in the broader Chanda Center team, collaborating with massage therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors to ensure a holistic approach to participant wellness.
• Caseload Management: Maintain a consistent full-time schedule, ensuring high-quality therapy documentation is completed within 24–48 hours of treatment.
• Safety & Advocacy: Prioritize participant safety and dignity at all times, serving as an advocate for the disability community within the clinic.

Qualifications

• Certification: Current Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
• Clinical Expertise: Proven experience or specialized training in neurological rehabilitation (SCI, BI, MS, CP) is highly preferred.
• Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and adapt to high-tech rehabilitation equipment and electronic medical records (EMR).

Pay & Benefits

• Status: Full-Time, W-2 Employee.
• Pay Structure: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour (commensurate with neuro-rehab experience).
